MFA has moved into our disaster recovery mode due to the Century Link and Verizon internet outage. However, the firewall is preventing access to the secure portion of our website. Lenders are currently not able to reserve loans, upload compliance files or upload compliance conditions.
As a short term solution to uploading files and conditions lenders may e-mail files and conditions to email@example.com and the mailbox will be monitored by Homeownership staff. In the subject line of the e-mail please state the type of request the e-mail is: Compliance File Upload or Compliance Suspense Conditions.
When files and conditions are e-mailed the same time frames exist as if they were uploaded to the secure system.
Lenders will receive an e-mail from MFA’s system when the status changes, however the lender will not be able to access the system to print approval letters or closing documents.
We apologize for the inconvenience and will notify Lenders when the system is running again.
